Embarking on the refurbishment journey of the Radisson Hotel Sandton’s penthouse in 2023, our aim was to fashion a space that exuded both sophistication and a welcoming, homely allure. Employing a palette of soft, light colors accented by vibrant pops in wallpapers and fabrics, we strived to create an ambiance that spoke of elegance and comfort.

Central to our design approach was the fusion of linen-inspired fabrics, neutral tones, and elements of solid wood, meticulously curated to craft an environment that offered a serene yet sophisticated retreat. To infuse a distinct South African essence, we handpicked furnishings and fittings from local manufacturers and artisans. This deliberate choice not only honored local craftsmanship but also lent the penthouse a unique, culturally rich character.

The procurement and installation of furniture and fittings were meticulously executed to complement the overarching design narrative and views of the city. Each piece was thoughtfully selected to enhance functionality while seamlessly blending with the overall aesthetic.

The outcome was a penthouse that radiated sophistication while evoking a sense of comfort and cultural depth.
